I played in a RUSH tribute band in college. It wasn't what we set out to do but when we played an unrehearsed version of Spirit of Radio at the end of our second gig, the audience lost their freaking minds and the die was cast. Over the next several years we made anywhere from 3k to 6k a gig, depending on the size of the venue.
