zzzzz.....monkeys.....zzzzz.....space.....zzzzz.....starchild.... I've seen this movie many times, and I just can't retain a memory of it. From a visual effects standpoint, it's worthwhile, but that's it. I agree that a solid hour could've been cut out of it. Blasphemous for me to say, but Blade Runner and Star Trek: The Motion Picture are the same for me. Snore...... A better movie to watch is Silent Running. Also in Space, great visuals, but moves along a bit better.
