Well, there's also a racial component. Randy said "he's new and white", I think they see most white teachers/authority figures as a bit softer than what they're used to. And it shows, Prez isn't used to teaching in that type of environment and kids just don't listen to him.

And that teacher probably just has the kids respect because she doesn't play. There's always a handful of teachers that kids know better than to mess with.
