One of the failures often mentioned after was the Japanese failed to touch the fuel depots or dry docs that would have crippled the fleet entirely instead of being able to hit back almost immediately at the battle of midway 6 months later. Always enjoying watching this and the original "midway" together, the new "midway" isnt too bad either and expands a little further into lessons learned on both sides. Either or both might be a good followup.
