We watched the Alternate Cut of the film to let Mrs. Movies have a more happier ending due to the content of the film. The last 10 minutes or so are cut slightly different than the Theatrical cut.

2023-05-08 22:09:28 +0000 UTC*scratch that* alternate ending is 1:31:17. The changes start at 1:19:47. The alternate ending has slightly changed credits making it a little longer, but the movie should last the same length.

2023-05-08 20:02:34 +0000 UTCJust saying "alternate ending" isn't really good enough for this movie. Can you give a specific runtime? Edit : Ok, now I have the right one. As you pointed out below, the 1997 versions (theatrical vs alternate ending) are the same movie through the 01:19:47 point and then the ending starts changing. It's the remake that I was remembering is the mother-of-all-edits version.
