2023-01-05 19:25:24 +0000 UTCI'm only saying this as we are on season 4, try and look past the surface of the show. By this I mean, that its a Sci-Fi, cause those elements are secondary. Both episodes made complete sense, Lampkin was embodying what the entire fleet is becoming - a group falling to despair. As for why she can get pregnant, you'll get answers for that later in the episodes.
