I have to stand with Galen on this. There's a difference between hazardous work and unsafe work, and the fuel refinery was unsafe. Given how critical its function is, that ship should be a priority. I seem to remember a lot of people on Galactica who apparently need something to do (that kid could train them).

2022-11-17 20:53:59 +0000 UTCYeah, pilot would probably be a popular choice. But I'd want to be a Raptor pilot instead of a Viper. About the only difference is that Raptors don't have weapons, but they do have a limited FTL capability and counter measure packages. And as we've seen in the miniseries, Raptors do go in with the Vipers to feed enemy information (numbers, locations, etc.) to the Vipers. Also, it wasn't Vipers who found the planets where they found water, tylium, and also New Caprica. Raptors are more flexible in the types of missions they would be utilized in.
