What was spooky was Brandon Lee's last interview where he started talking about how we don't know when we're going to die, and then not long afterwards was the accident.

Lol. I looked up what a granddaddy patreon is and, wow, spending 144 dollars per month? Yikes. Lol You know, thinking about it, it’s kinda weird that we give complete stranger’s money to watch them watch movies. Like…there’s kids starving in Africa right this very moment. That money could go to them. But nope. We need our reaction videos. If someone would’ve told me 5 years ago that I’d not only spend my time watching random people watch movies & TV shows on the internet but also pay them for the privilege? I’d say that person was nuts. But here I am. What’s a strange world.

Special request saturdays are for granddaddy patreon subs. They get to pick whatever they want.

Rainingmadness

What do you mean your next pick? How are you able to make picks?

Stan the Man

Well I kept on hearing the term reboot/remake so maybe its Eric again, but I haven't been reading too much into it since a Crow movie in 2022 I am largely disinterested in.

Rainingmadness

My next pick is a drama if that helps

I did like City of Angels alot. I just feel its not a movie for everyone. Salvation def had some fun scenes. Wicked Prayer yea like i said a fun time if your drunk haha. Hopefully this new one is going to be awesome. I dont remember tho if they are doing Eric Draven again. I sure hope not. Thats disrespectful to Brandon!!!

I really enjoyed City of Angels. That Crow at times was a bigger psycho than Eric. It certainly doesn't peak like the first movie, but I would still call it a good film. Crow Salvation certainly crosses that line into not good, but man was that crow a fun one. He did a few things that I think many would do if they had immortality and a desire for revenge. there was just a handful of weird things as well that weighed it down. However Wicked Prayer...you would need a lot of that jack daniels to numb the pain of watching it haha.

Rainingmadness

Is there no like…Disney movies you guys haven’t seen? Everything is like crazy horror movies lately lol. How about something more sweet and innocent? Like “The Incredibles” or “Iron Giant”. Or a great Batman movie, the best Batman movie imo, that most people haven’t seen. “Batman Mask of the Phantasm”.

Stan the Man

It was a multilayered joke that went way over her head. Glad you got it. Haha

You, Me, & The Movies

It's funny that you made that joke about Sting, because Sting the wrestler completely stole his look from The Crow.

Nathan Bishop

This movie is so horrible lol.

The Crow sequels are all about different people that were wronged and killed and the crow brings them back for revenge. So each movie is about a different tragedy that happens to someone else. The Crow is nostalgic for me so i loved the Brandon Lee movie. Its in my top 20 of all time. People in the movie theatres were going crazy at certain scenes. City of Angels and The Crow Salvation are both watchable but dont compare. As for the Crow 4 titled Wicked Prayer that stars Edward Furlong.....uhhh invite some of your friends over, make sure you get some tequila or jack daniels and just prepare to have soo much fun watching it!!!!

Demos Samolis

Honestly, I'd avoid all of them. None of them measure up to the original, but City of Angels is really the only one that's remotely watchable.

Brian Jones

No, the scene he tragically died filming was him entering his home with a bag of groceries when they were raping and killing his girlfriend (not used in the film). The only person that fired at him in said scene was Michael Massee (Funboy), who was essentially traumatized for life from the incident. It was a pickup shot in the final days of filming, but sadly the armorer had left for the day and the crew decided to go through with it anyway. The gun that was used had been used in a previous scene weeks earlier with primer only rounds (rounds where the powder was removed but the primer and bullet were kept in the cartridge to simulate the look of real ammunition), and the compression from the primer was enough to push the bullet (.44 caliber) into the barrel. When the gun was used again later in the fatal scene, it was loaded with a blank round, but the armorer never checked the barrel for obstructions after the previous scene weeks earlier and wasn't on set. The crew sadly didn't know any better and were in a rush to get the shot. It was fired from roughly 12-15 feet away. The compression from the blank load teamed with the lodged bullet in the barrel was essentially like firing a normal fully loaded round. It struck Brandon in the right side of the abdomen, logged near his spine, and he died later at the hospital. The scene was later restaged and reshot without Brandon, and the images where you can see Lee’s face were remade through digital processing, adding his face to a double.

Brian Jones

There are three sequels and a mostly forgotten tv series. The next movie is also pretty good. The third one is bad, but that crow is a pretty fun one. The fourth crow movie is atrocious and should be entirely avoided.

Rainingmadness

So when Brandon died, he only had three days out of the remaining 8 day filming schedule. The movie was pretty much done, but there were a couple of key scenes they had to work around with not having Brandon. I had always heard/read that the scene he died in was the gangster meeting, but I have been corrected.

Rainingmadness

Heck ya!
