The psychological horror aspect of older horror films has sadly died out mostly. Now its become over the top dogital effects and cheap jump scares. Not to mention unrealistic acting performances. The nun and priest in original amityville had true look of terror in there faces that you can immediately relate too on a psycological level. Reason the exorcist was soo damn good. This is why horror films are dying out now.
