I didn't think it was stupid, just my opinion, I love the HP Lovecraft homage that this movie is, Mr. Movies totally had that right so I can't fault him for calling Carpenter's "Apocalypse Trilogy" the Doomsday Trilogy lol. Mrs. Movies was also right from the get go about it being a very meta movie. Yeah it's probably my least favorite of the three, The Thing is my favorite of course, but maybe it's because I saw this in the theater that I actually like this one (and because in high school my friends and I always got really stoned before a movie) but I remember walking out and we were having a fun a conversation about reality etc. And two of my friends, brothers, were huge HP Lovecraft fans and got me into his writing after that. That whole weird blend of science and mysticism and horror, just, yeah I guess made for fertile ground for so many writers that came later, like Stephen King, who's also a big fan of his. Btw hope you don't mind, I've been calling you Meryl and Daryl Movies in my head lol, great reaction, gonna have to go back and watch your Event Horizon reaction, though that movie creeped me TF out the one time I watched it, about time I revisited it I guess.
