If you ever get to see it, the combined version of the movies, called The Whole Bloody Affair, is absolutely iconic. Some bits are trimmed to help with how it flows and there's extra footage added in. It does clock in at just over 4 hours but it's just so good. It feels completely different as one movie. Absolute masterpiece.
