Its common to see weight lifters not wrap their thumb around the bar when bench pressing. It’s called a “suicide grip.” It allows for less stress on shoulders/wrists but obviously creates a much greater risk of dropping the bar.

I like that they changed it up a little with the photos (which is a callback to The Omen btw) and I like that the ending felt complete. They were all dead. Mrs Movies was correct I believe. The premonition photo for the subway was the boyfriends. His face had lights shining in it and looked exactly like it did when he was smashed against the subway window.
