2025-03-01 10:54:57 +0000 UTCMr. Mime became Psychic/Fairy in the XY games, he's immune to dragon type moves. If you want to switch it out for another Pokemon a Female Meowstic can learn all the moves that you listed that Mr. Mime knowing.

2025-03-01 03:58:39 +0000 UTCI’m not talking about it’s evolution potential. I’m talking about its attitude while battling. At what point did the author set up Gumi as being willing and able to battle other opponents, especially strong opponents. It’s out of character. Last time we saw it directly battle someone solo, it only did so reluctantly, and gave up halfway. Now we see it going all out against a strong opponent. If Pokémon are people and not robots that just do whatever attack the trainer tells them to, like the author has been depicting so far, then they need to be treated like people and not face heal turn into a different character trait out of nowhere.

Goomy has been growing on the side Swablu's evolution can't be more than a month away, Goomy is finally coming into his own as a Dragon, and Shelgon... - From Act 2 Ch 5, just before that first Nine vs Shelgon fight. In the Crater, Lee notices Goomy seeming bigger as well. (A2Ch28, after just 1 week of training). It may not have been super obvious, but this is certainly not abrupt either

Seems like rather abrupt and forced character growth considering last we saw it it was allergic to battling and afraid of all opponents. You nay want to consider adding in a character arc for it earlier in the story to make its new attitude more believable.
