The Sopranos is my favourite show of all time, so it's great that it's finally being watched by some great reactors. I can't wait to watch along, knowing all the places this show's gonna go over the 6 seasons!

2022-01-01 11:36:22 +0000 UTCYeah I noticed they covered up Tony's "demotion" in episode 2 by saying that because of Jackie's cancer Tony is considered almost an acting boss. Well, I guess because Jackie himself is acting boss that would make Tony the acting acting boss.

2021-12-31 06:28:38 +0000 UTCThe pilot episode was shot in 1997, and a year before the rest of the 1st season. David Chase (show creator) initially pitched it as a movie to HBO, but they wanted it as a series instead (hence the long break between shooting with some plot/character changes along the way) Some differences from the pilot episode that aren't canon to the rest of the series: - In episode 1, Tony was the boss of the family. In episode 2, both him and Junior are Capos (Captain) of their own crews. - Jackie is the current acting boss of the family. - Their pork store hangout (Centanni's) is now called Satriale's. There are others but those are the main ones that come to mind. Hope this helps :)
