2021-12-26 23:07:31 +0000 UTCMy fave horror series. Growing up I wasn't really allowed to watch movies like that, plus they freaked me out. I saw some things on TV bit flipped it off. So this was my first horror movie and I went to the theater with a friend. That first scene freaked me out so much. I never knew I could be scared so much by a movie. I told my friend "I want to leave!" But the humor helped me get through this movie and I loved it. I can not wait for Scream 5.

Fact is, when you first see it (and haven't seen anything about it) you really have no idea who the killer(s) are till late in the film. It's very well done. AFTER watching the Scream series, then go for the Scary movie series so it won't ruin the Scream series for you.

The only ones that come close are Candyman (1992), New Nightmare (1994), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), The Faculty (1998), Halloween: H20 (1998), The Blair Witch Project (1999) and The Sixth Sense (1999). I think Scream 2 is just as good as the first. 3 and 4 are just alright, but not great.

PS: My favorite character is totally Randy as well, the part where Jamie Kennedy is yelling at the TV "Jamie! Look out behind you!" with Ghostface behind him is so iconic, especially because he's basically talking to himself - JAMIE! Haha
