The crooked picture is either a trap to know if someone has been in your office (like tape on the door broken) OR maybe the picture is hanging from the other screw. Either way, Dexter doesn't have on gloves, argh!

He must have responded to Angela saying something like "wish I had known you then (as Dexter)" Sounds like she was relenting but we don't see it on screen.
