2021-12-20 00:41:44 +0000 UTCOne of the best films of the 1940s. Actually, it might be my favorite as I like this better than Casablanca and Citizen Kane. The film makes many important points ranging from awareness of depression and family struggles but also the fact that many hard working people are not getting the respect or standard of living that they deserve.

So ever since then the movie is much more impactful to me. Because I felt what he felt. So when he prays to live again, I canโt make it without bawling.
