If you like this kind of scary slasher, you need to watch some of the Italian giallos that inspired it. Dario Argento's Deep Red and Tenebre, as well as Lamberto Bava's Blade in the Dark. You also have to see Bava's Demons!

I didn't see the most recent remake, but I decided to skip it since the last remake was so bad. Might end up watching it just to complete the entire viewing of each attempt! This original was by far the scariest version to me. Totally up there too with a lot of other horror fans top scariest old-school slashers!
