2021-11-08 23:10:18 +0000 UTCYou should consider watching Dollhouse next, another Joss Whedon TV show. It's short at 2 seasons and similar sense of humor but with some interesting ideas about identity. The first 5 episodes of Season 1 are basic but then the quality of the show ramps up.
2021-11-07 23:09:42 +0000 UTC“Out of Gas” is my favorite as well, followed by “The Message”. Favorite character would have to be Mal. I’m a sucker for disillusioned and jaded characters. Tracey was probably my favorite side character just because I felt bad for him. In terms of villains, I would say it’s a toss-up between the Operative and Early. My favorite scene is actually a deleted scene from “Serenity” (the episode, not the movie). It’s the exchange between Simon and Zoe about the name of the ship. I’m pretty sure it’s available on YouTube. Highly recommended.

2021-11-02 05:14:39 +0000 UTCI'm more a fan of the guy we're going to meet in the movie, but this character IS a very entertaining bad guy. There is an interview with Joss Whedon where he says that Jubal Early survived, and since the comics that Joss Whedon collaborated on are considered canon, and Jubal shows up in one of them, I guess he did.
