I know Mrs. is scared and this show can be very scary but I hope that doesn't deter her from seeing the actual story of the series being told. It makes me tear up everytime. Ironically, not seeing the narrative because of the scares very much mirrors the show. And Luke's story kills me everytime. The trauma he endured and the trauma he puts himself through as a result of that. And how much he really cares for people and they've mostly let him down. Im not diminishing what his addiction put his family through and how they tried to help. But, like he said as a kid, they ultimately didnt really listen and believe him which is really what he wanted and needed.
