You could make an argument that this film is more of a spin off as it does not really follow the previous films and just starts randomly. Some trivia here is that the couple in the tent were actually a couple in real life at one point and had no idea the other was cast in that role. It might explain why they seem to be more comfortable than most actors in doing that type of scene and the nudity.
