October Flash Poll
Added 2021-08-23 16:12:20 +0000 UTCWe talked about this during the Live Stream. Debating watching Dune 1984 or opening that slot up for another Scary Movie in October.
Currently, our October Schedule is filled with:
- 5 Halloween Franchise movies - All Five October Fridays
- 3 Friday/Freddy Movies. (Freddy vs Jason, Jason X, & New Nightmare will all drop on Mondays in Oct. on YouTube.)
- Dune 2021 - Saturday Release after hitting HBOMax
- Dune 1984 - Monday Release week 2021 hits Theaters/HBOMax
- Sleepaway Camp - Final Monday of October for Halloween Week
So, the poll is as follows. Do we keep the schedule as is? Or Watch Sleepaway Camp & a movie you guys pick in a poll? Or do we put up a poll with more options and have two movies picked with a poll?
If you pick option 2 or 3. Please comment with your suggested Scary Movie to add to the poll. I am looking for movies that don't have sequels that are kind of one-off Scary Movies (ex: Sleepaway Camp, TrickRTreat, The Fog, The People Under the Stairs, etc...)
Also, be active in the comments! If you see a movie you like suggested. Heart it! The most hearted Movie suggestions will be on the poll :)

Went to a friends house one night and the 2005 House of Wax with Ms. P. Hilton was on. Just in the background and no one taking it seriously. Then it got good, really good. I think everyone avoided it because of the Hilton person. But I was so impressed I bought the dvd and made everyone watch it. No one was disappointed. Def check it out even if you don't watch it on your channel!
2021-09-19 04:07:46 +0000 UTCToo bad that Dune is a work of art. Like to kick back with some music watching it and Blade Runner just for ambience

2021-08-26 18:31:52 +0000 UTCHereditary is in that disturbing category of horror that seems to freak the Mrs. out the most. That could be a fun watch.
2021-08-26 05:06:37 +0000 UTCYes, and it's actually based on a true event. Barbara Hershey gives a strong performance and there are multiple intense, disturbing scenes.

2021-08-25 22:25:35 +0000 UTCI’m voting for the poll and think The Entity (1982) is a good one off film.
2021-08-25 14:44:37 +0000 UTCPlease watch Scream. I've been wanting it for awhile its my favorite horror movie
2021-08-25 08:39:26 +0000 UTCI recommend this fantastic and underrated romantic comedy: The Talented Mr. Ripley. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

2021-08-25 07:17:09 +0000 UTC1408 and Identity are definitely good choices but more mystery/thriller than horror. From Dusk Till Dawn one of the more bizarre horror flicks from the 90s but entertaining.

2021-08-25 06:32:11 +0000 UTCI'm not much of a horror movie buff, how bout these though if you guys haven't seen them. -1408(2007) with John Cussack where he stays in a haunted hotel -Identity(2003) again with John Cussack, i know i've requested this one before and don't know if it fits the horror theme although it does fit the slasher theme and a psychological thriller. -Final Destination, this is a series of movies idk if you would consider it horror but it can be morbid enough to fit the bill and the first one is a classic must-see -From Dusk Till Dawn(1996) this is where i know Tom Savina(the makeup and graphic effects legend in horror movies) from with his appearance as Sex Machine in the movie -House on Haunted Hill(1999) -Silent Hill(2006) i love the atmosphere i this movie, i used to smoke a ton of pot and watch this one a bunch although i dont do that anymore the atmosphere is still cool -Tales From The Hood(1995) this one is a cult classic i saw this when i was only like 8 years old and it blew my little mind, i dont know if it fits the horror theme but it's really good an introduced my to my alltime favorite rapper Spice 1 from the soundtrack -War of The Worlds(2005) with Tom Cruise, this one is probably classified under sci-fi but let me say this movie scared me to death when i saw it, i lived out in the country and was imagining hearing the sounds the tripod machines make in the distance, i don't get scared from movies very easily at all. -

2021-08-24 16:56:50 +0000 UTCI don't know most of the movies in you guy's poll so I don't vote on them then. I've watched you guys watch a few that i've never seen or even heard of though, i enjoy your content so even if it's not Dexter I watch it sometimes, i don't watch the Lost episodes though, never seen the show or had any interest to see it, i might someday though.

2021-08-23 20:37:15 +0000 UTCAny Lars Von Trier film should NEVER be considered. The Mrs. would be so uncomfortable watching Antichrist in front of us.
Baldielox
2021-08-23 20:33:58 +0000 UTCI love those movies too but, I don't think the Mrs. would like them at all. She'd feel about those like she feels about Freddie.
Baldielox
2021-08-23 20:30:12 +0000 UTCI voted for the 12 movie poll but, it looks like that probably won't happen. I'd pick 'Hereditary' as the Mrs. will be truly scared with that one. Another very scary flick is 'Sinister'. (Sinister 2 is not really needed. It's like you just said, not worth watching.)
Baldielox
2021-08-23 20:23:14 +0000 UTCA lot of movies have sequels, but I kind of meant... sequels worth watching haha

2021-08-23 19:25:09 +0000 UTCWe will get to the Evil Dead Franchise at some point. Not this Oct.
You, Me, & The Movies
2021-08-23 18:22:04 +0000 UTCYou have to do The Evil Dead 1 & 2 (3 is optional)

2021-08-23 17:05:53 +0000 UTCI'm a HUGE David Lynch fan, but man, Dune is REALLY rough and the only movie of his I don't like. Even David Lynch dislikes it. For October, you'd be better off watching something of his like Lost Highway which has a good amount of scares and is a one-off. Of coarse, if you want an insane one-off horror film that'll freak you out, it's really tough to beat Lars von Trier's Antichrist.
