For the record, Pazuzu was the name of the demon who possessed Regan. Linda Blair actually fractured her back in the scene where she was convulsing on the bed. Without giving anything away, the 2 characters at the end will return for Exorcist 3. There is a director's cut but stick with the theatrical version. Ps. The demon farted ; )

2021-08-02 22:34:28 +0000 UTCRegarding the necklace, It actually was not St Christopher.. Its a St Joseph medal which featured an engraved picture of St.Joseph with Baby Jesus. There's a common misconception that the medal found by Father Merrin in Iraq and the one worn by Father Karras are one and the same, however, that is not necessarily the case. The real question that i've been pondering for years is, how a contemporary Christian medal got into an archaeological ruin from pre-Christian Nineveh in the first place. And yes, the Mrs was right.. Regan rips the medal off Karras' neck at the end, the belief is that Karras' protection from anything evil needs to be removed before the demon can enter his body. 2021-08-02 17:35:12 +0000 UTCI have to say, this movie stuck with me for years, my childhood fear of the dark began after I watched the crucifix part(by mistake) when I was a kid. Just before you made a wish….I said for this movie to be over. 😆 blah I hate this movie…great reaction! 😂
