I like all of the seasons if im being honest. I liked season 6 and this episode and im not sure why tho.

2021-07-24 11:10:46 +0000 UTCI hated the religious stuff this season so Nebraska was a nice break from that. And about Dexter's combat confidence he is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu as mentioned by Doakes in season 2.

Also reminds you that even though Dexter is more good than bad he still struggles with the darkness and is still tempted to go out and not follow Harry's code. It was fun seeing Dexter get a little rebellious. Not a perfect season imo but entertaining.

Years later when I revisited season 6, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire season, including 'Nebraska'. Actually think it's a quality season and episode now.
