Favorite kill would have to be the speargun. As far as the dialogue goes I think it was intentional to make it seem like instead of scenes transitioning it was more like the viewer was walking in on conversations that were already going to make it feel more realistic. I believe that was done to counteract the fact that this movie really did make the teen characters more cliches as to make them more memorable. This was to make their kills a little more impactful than they had been. Though at the end of the day I don’t think it achieved that since the franchise (and slashers in general) the teens are just a means to an end, only set up so the film can have the creative kills.

2021-07-09 22:28:25 +0000 UTCI think it's a big stretch after watching Dexter that you'd find ANY dialog compelling, but yeah the dialog was pretty scattered. Seriously though, I've never watched a Friday The 13th film for it's compelling writing.
