The January Experiment Concluded; The Patreon Going Forward

I hope this update finds all of you well. At the time of writing this, I could be doing better. We lost a wonderful member of the fandom today, and this one struck me harder than most.

How did the Experiment go?

The January Experiment has come and gone, and honestly I'm feeling good about it. As it happens, I rather like streaming, and I wanna do some more of it in future. I've gotten affiliate very speedily (a process that's suppose to take months rather than weeks) with the support of all my friends in the furry Twitch streaming community. There's still a very, very long road for me going forward. I wanna do all sorts of things with it when possible.

For those who don't know, Twitch Affiliates are a class of streamers who are given permission to begin making money off the site through subscriptions, bits donations and ad revenue. I wanna do more and potentially make it a really robust, even if I can't really draw my usual things on there.

So what does that mean for the Patreon?

Thankfully, I think the Patreon isn't shutting down. Instead, I wanna transition it to putting full-res pictures of everything I make on here for everyone to download as needed. 

On top of that, I wanna use Twitch streaming as a way for me to draw more for myself. I've been spending a lot of time and energy into commission work and the comics I've drawn on this website, but frankly its tiring. I'm not burnt out just yet, but I can feel my mind wanting to do more with the limited time I have every month than just drawing for other people.

In future, I wanna try using Twitch as a means to draw my future comic projects, but for now I just want some me-time and draw from this ridiculous list of gifts I've been holding onto since November last year.

To that end, I might open up a Patreon/Twitch Discord in the near future to manage my announcements. Its kinda inevitable, really, although I've never been a fan of managing a Discord for my own content. But hey, maybe then I might finally know just who in the world are the people who actually enjoy my content rather than just seeing them as notifications on social media.

Payments will resume for the February cycle and everyone will be charged on the 1st of March (US Time).
