But.. being unable to see the content of any of the emails other than them just telling me to get the app, I won't know if they are new chats or chats in a chat. Wheee. I can't find any settings anywhere that let me opt in or out of chat stuff through the PC website.

It just tells me that if I want to read it, I have to install the app on my phone. These people can't manage to make their website work correctly. I am NOT putting an app they are putting out on my phone.
