I watched vampire hunter D bloodlust for the first time 2 days ago and this is the result of that.
I ended up taking so many screenshots of it as I went I accidentally made a progress series so here you are!
It's a kinda reproduction of a Yoshitaka Amano illustration but with a weird pick and choose mixture of outfit elements from various sources cos D has a. Really weird outfit. In pretty much every version. But I really liked the colors and flow in Amano's art.

Also the rendering of everything, especially that face. It feels like your painting style suits these dramatic gothic images. I was afraid of watching this movie bc I knew I would become obsessed but this is going to make me finally do it.
