I promise this isn't the tone of the whole comic ;u; <3 I didn't plan on Demeter being quite so Mother Gothel, but also the original story does exist to explain why she likes to kill a bunch of people with famine every year, so. (spoilers to a 2700 year old story)
Only 7 pages this month cos this is the end of the chapter and I have to figure out what scene I wanna go with next cos I have 5 drafted out and only 1 or 2 of them need to happen.

Also the only reason why Hades isn't as obnoxious as the other gods is because ancient Greeks were too afraid to talk about him so he was deemed fearsome enough that no mother would want their daughter caught up in that mess
