I will probably need a few weeks to complete this scene (the dark place they’re in is just one part of it) but I'll try to diversify the upcoming dev logs by showing some other scenes that are coming in 0.20!
Also, this time around I’m writing the code step by step alongside the rendering process. The goal is to spread out the workload more evenly, reduce the last-minute crunch, and leave more time for polishing text and fixing typos.
Render progress:

Other:
Script writing: 3%
Animations: 0%
(Note: I use percentages as a sort of progress through the scene script itself. The last 5% can take longer than the first 30% - it is not always proportional to the render amount.)

I feel like the second part of the last quest is a perfect opportunity for an “Unforgiven” or “Wolverine” moment. a chance for the mc to show why he’s respected among other stalkers and bring out those strong alpha male vibes, fits for the dark or good path. It would also be great to see the Queen witness that side of him and come to respect his other qualities beyond just his “magical piper.”
