Dev log 21.04.2024

The pavillon is a place where couples and friends come together to date. The city's servants make sure to prepare drinks, blankets and a warm fire for the night.

I reworked the light in this part twice because I had to brighten up the place. Do you think it's still too dark? And what do you think of Zahra's face being mostly dark? I usually have half the face lit up. I thought to try a bit more natural style of lighting for this scene though. Let me know what you think.

Have a great next week!

Looks amazing but what about more light on Zahra's face.

Desert Stalker

environmentally very atmospheric, some soft mesh light on a few of the characters might help with realizing some of their detailing - esp on closeup of Zahra, but not if it risks any of the mood that shadowing provides

The visibility is good, but in #3, it may be too bright to be realistic. It looks like there's a large, off-screen, overhead light next to the center columns. (Like what's being reflected in the puddle?) Maybe the positions of other braziers or sources off-screen would explain it. Also, the lips of the braziers, in #1 as well, look like they're reflecting the glare of a bright white light above them. I wouldn't want the scenes to be less light, but I'd suggest bigger fires to make the light more proportional, and the brazier lips being a little dimmer with more color. Otherwise, they look fantastic! I love the realistic detail like the wrinkles in the blankets. Can't wait for the finished product!

It does look great, but I agree with other it just a shade to dark, simular to the scenes in the queen her private quarters. But man like I said before, your atmospheric world building truly is something else. It really reminds me of the same location by night in Assassin's Creed Origins, and with the difference of course that your npc's beat those of Ubisoft.

Horseoffire1

I think its still too dark. I bit brighter would be great.

Puma78

I would like it just a tad brighter, but I'm fine with it. I can still see her beautiful face ๐Ÿ˜.
