I will be recording recording Stein;Gate Episode 1 in a couple of days, so I was wondering if there is anything else I need to know before going in to it. If indeed the opening is actually spoiler free, then I will watch it after the first couple of episodes. Once again, I will be watching the blu-ray version, and I believe it will sync with the Crunchyroll version without any issues, that's what I've been told.
The Full Length version of HXH 145 will be going up, but the edited early access version needs to be moved to Friday.

I now have a few solid days to devote to editing without being needed elsewhere, so I'm working on getting the schedule back on track over the next few days, and expect complete drops of HXH 146 and Doctor Who 10x12 on their respective upload days (Monday and Tuesday) Doctor Who 10x11 Early Access version will be up before Tuesday as well.
Also, I would like to thank many of you for the kind words about my brother's ongoing situation, he's feeling better again and able to go back to work as well.

I'm one of the translators who brought over the game the anime is based on into English, I'll be very keen to see your thoughts as I've often enjoyed your series analysis in the past. As far as the OP and ED go, they do not really contain any spoilers. It's largely abstract symbolism in the ED and generic panning imagery of the cast in the OP. As someone deeply familiar with the source material I would consider it completely safe to watch. Glad to hear your brother is in a better state as well. Wishing you the best!

2025-03-14 15:23:48 +0000 UTCImo, there's as many spoilers on the box art for the Blu ray as there are in the OP. Beyond seeing what the characters look like, and suggestions as to what the core themes of the anime are, I don't think there's really much to worry about when it comes to the OP

2025-03-14 08:40:11 +0000 UTCWhat you should know... maybe for dicsussion's sake it's useful to know that Stein;Gate is an adaptation of a visual novel, not manga or anything. VN's usually have "roots" and choices that basically alters plot, also, SG VN considered to be relatively long in playtime.

The thing is it shows characters but you‘ve already looked at the cover of the blu ray and it has the exact same amount of spoilers on it. Decide for yourself Im🫡

(as almost all opening sequences do) and it has lots of imagery that relate to the themes of the series that you could feasibly use to inform speculation. Nothing beyond what most know going in (genre/tone)

Regardless, the opening song is amazing! You should also know, that the steins;gate anime was adapted from the Visual Novel of the same name.
