Rewriting & Hiatus Announcement — Please Unsubscribe!

I'll make this short. The Ethersmith will go on hiatus. Royal Road paused today, and Patreon will be following suit after 6 more chapters.

I took the book into a direction I hate, and if I continue with daily releases, the story won't be getting any better. I feel like I'm posting junk chapters every day. Vivi has been completing everything in easy mode ever since chapter 45.

The daily chapter release schedule doesn't suit my style as a writer in the slightest. So instead, I'm going to lock myself in the writing cave for a few months. I'll be rewriting both books 1 and 2 behind the scenes. In fact, the process has already started, and I'm much happier with how the second half of book 1 is going. The plot is seeing a complete overhaul. The dungeon is getting mega buffed, and Vivi's progression is being revamped.

When both books are completed, I'm relaunching the series. The Ethersmith will be coming back in an estimated 3-6 months.

I know a lot of you will disagree with this decision, and a relaunch of this style is probably not very healthy for the book's numbers, but I'm not going to sit here and feed people slop when I know I can write something much better than this. As you all know, boss monsters will drop a lot more loot if you let them brew for a few months, and the same goes for my writing.
