It was all fun and games when I thought "oh I'll have so many beautiful flowers around them and at night too it'll be so pretty" - and then it came time to ink it >_>

I used a couple of the recent NSFW pin ups to practice a little foliage inking trick. Basically I'm using various layers with the stroke effect to paint plants on white. It's a 1000% easier to paint plants than ink their outlines. They're overlapping with the characters for now, but I'll fix that when they're done.

At the end of inking I'll rasterize the layers with the stroke effects and delete the white areas, so all I'll be left with are the clean outlines.

And that's the story of how I'm approaching this piece.
