Patreon news - Sales tax stuff
Added 2020-06-29 18:37:50 +0000 UTCIn case Patreon didn't already inform you, starting July 1st they have to add sales tax to some pledges based on what benefits you're getting and where you live. So some of your pledges could see a small rise??
The types of benefits on this Patreon are Early Access, Behind-the-Scenes Content, VIP Live Event (livestream), Digital Downloads (UL PDFs and coloring pages), and Exclusive Posts (pin ups and UL rewards).
If your pledge amount rises the amount depends entirely on how much your country taxes the above content, if they tax it at all. More info here!
