Added 2023-11-18 03:17:48 +0000 UTCAnother unplanned and unexpected event I had the privilege to experience - getting a traditional Iban tattoo by a master at Chiang Mai Tattoo convention yesterday (where I ended up getting not one but three in one day 🤯😅). So honoured to receive this warrior ink and I shall it with pride wherever I go. 🙏
This neck design combines the frog and the scorpion where the frog signifies the war cry that scares away enemies, while the scorpion symbolizes stealth and deadly accuracy when it strikes. 🐸🦂
I also got a Bungah terung flower which represents when you leave the village to seek wisdom, and a traditional Iban tapestry design where women are seen as Weaving warriors and tattooists themselves!
