Birthday Boobs!!! 🎂

It's my cakeday!!! As you all know, I went and bought myself birthday boobs and here they are - still pretty bruised and not in their final form yet but good things take time! 🎂😍🙈🥳

I just shared the censored versions of these photos on my public social media but I will share what I wrote as well, even though you all knew this in advance and then some:

I've been on the fence about this for over 2 decades and came close to getting them before but always changed my mind in the end because of fear. To be honest I'm still scared sometimes. The days after my surgery were and are still rough, ngl. 😵☠️

At times I thought I had made a huge mistake - what if they don't turn out the way I want? what if I can't do the things I used to do? etc. And the pain post surgery was almost unbearable for me, the doctor said I had 10 times the amount of muscle to cut through compared to all the other patients they encountered! My chest was so swollen, bruised, bloody, and deformed. 😱

I mean, they did warn me it would be painful, but I have a pretty decent pain tolerance so I thought it would be fine. God I was so wrong, I was beside myself with absolute AGONY for days and I'm no drama queen. I went to some pretty dark places... but luckily I have some awesome friends who were able to support and reassure me - I'm so so grateful for you all! You know who you are and thank you. 🙏

This is my 9th day post surgery and I'm still healing as we speak. It will be a long slow road back to full recovery but I'm grateful to be here and thankful for the experience and the lessons. I have no regrets. I hope I will be able to do the things I used to do but if not, I have faith I will channel my creativity and passion into other things that excite and nourish my soul. 🧘🏻‍♀️

So happy 38th birthday to me. I will never stop striving to be the best me possible and living the life of my dreams without restraint or fear.
