This feeling of paranoia might be, for me, the main (though not the only) thing that makes Johan such an incredible character. I've seen many scary characters, but for me, the fear that Johan instills is kinda unique. I feel like Hannibal might be somewhat similar to him, but it still doesn't feel the same. Hannibal's terror is much more physical. Johan’s, on the other hand, is almost like the fear of something supernatural—while at the same time we know that he isn’t and can't be supernatural.
