Assume good will
Added 2023-02-22 19:42:57 +0000 UTCAbout 4 years ago I did a shoot with a photographer and didn't hear anything about my pictures from him. Me being insecure and non-confrontational , I didn't ask why as I assumed that they were all bad and that's why he didn't get back to me.
Fast forward to recently, he messaged and asked if I wanted to do a shoot with him. And I just replied politely that I wasn't interested because I didn't hear back from him from our last shoot so didn't want it to happen again. He apologized and sent me the photos pretty soon after. He didn't give an explanation or excuse but I accepted his apology.
Anyway, here are some photos from that shoot. Moral of the story is, assume good will from others. Usually people are just busy or don't realise the impact they have on you. Don't let your fears and insecurities get the best of you.
