I have a lot of fond memories baking with my mom. I always was her little helper growing up, even if I wasn't that much of a helper but a mess maker. XD If she was in the kitchen, you could bet that I was right by her side. I'd watch everything she did. I wanted to be just as good of a chief/baker as she was. Now when we visit for the holidays, we're always baking together. It's turned into a wonderful tradtion to make cookies and pies for the rest of the family.
