Nursery
Added 2016-04-16 13:50:05 +0000 UTCThis is a scene that I had a lot of fun with. 2 characters with a complex nursery background. They asked for a different version without the Daddy so you could see the whole nursery. Working on backgrounds is probably my favorite part of any commission. You get to build their world and make the picture alive. Once I'm done with a sketch for a big commission like this I try to ask myself if it tells a story on it's own. Would it still be interesting if the characters weren't there? When you can say yes, you know you're doing it right.
