September Comic!
Added 2024-09-04 20:28:01 +0000 UTCHello people, I've let the votes roll in and the ideas simmer, and I believe it will be best for me to begin publishing monthly comics about different subjects instead of committing to one long story. This opens all manner of exciting possibilities, and more input from YOU as to what our monthly comic is going to be!
Character Poll
How will this work? That's something I've been wondering too, and I believe I will do exactly the same thing as OC mania! We will put my ideas to a vote, and we will see which one gets a comic made about them each month. After a comic gets made, that character will be removed from the vote until a few more have been exhausted (The whole idea is variety after all!)
Comic Length
Since the pacing will change based on how long the comic is, it is important for me to know upfront how long we will be spending on a comic. Each month there will be a second vote (on discord) to see how long you want the comic to be. 4 pages (one month) or 8 pages (two months.) This will allow us to really focus on some of the stories that we really care about if you all decide it is worth committing that much time to! For example, if Haziel gets chosen for a comic, and you vote for 8 pages, we will be producing a comic about Haziel for two months. Then she will be removed from the poll and we will run it again.
Monthly Illustration
Since now the comic is where the OCs will shine, I think this would be a good place to return to monthly fanart as a wildcard. This will work the same as it always has.
As always, I appreciate the support and understanding, and now I'm more excited than ever to make stories!
