Project updates and NAPP 3.9!

Hi guys!!!

Well, first of all, happy new year!!! (better late than never I guess). NAPP 3.9 is here!!! But before I want to give you some updates on things I've been working on. It's BLABLABLA time!!!

First thing on the list: I'm getting a place, and I'm planning on getting some tables, chairs, a coffee machine, a nintendo 64, some games, the PCs and the bois so we all can work together. As you know, many friends of mine are artists as well. I've talked about Joe O'boyle, the creator of some of the new paintings included in NAPP, Iago Baltanas, another illustrator who is working on some more paintings, Choley who is the composer making all the new songs for the pack, and some others you may not know about (for now). My plan is to have a place where everyone can work on their own stuff, NAPP stuff, etc. Just a creative place to chill and think together.

More stuff: I'm also working on those 'secret projects' I've talked about for Minecraft previously, and I'm getting close to reveal it! I'm excited because it's something where I can be more 'creative' and do 'crazier' stuff, without sticking to vanilla. Don't get me wrong, I love recreating the game with a realistic look and figuring out how everything in the game would look 'hd' but as an artist sometimes I need to make my own stuff, and this is pretty much it (and just a note, everything I make will be free for all of the patrons of every tier)

Time has been a little concern to me this weeks, as a lot of things are adding to the 'to do' list, like getting my driver license, looking for a place to live, working on all the things mentioned above + the road-map... also I'm dealing with some medical stuff which I'll keep private because It's just a personal thing (and I don't want to play the victim card) and some life stuff, and that's why this two last updates have been focused on fixes, reshapes and reworks, so I can keep up with everything and putting out the content, but just let you know that next update will be full of new stuff (plus some bug fixes JSM and me couldn't manage to include in this version on time)

And finally, NAPP recently got +1M downloads... and I think that's... crazy. Thank you guys.

NOW WITH THE UPDATE!: NAPP 3.9

FIXES

new Farmland moist block: Making the roadmap images has revealed some big flaws on some textures. Vanilla farmland moist looks much more muddy and wet, so I completely remade the texture to resemble that!

new Barrel: Based on the old one, but polished some aspects, corrected the wood direction and changed the top aspect so it has more sense. Also toned down a little bit the color so it matches the original one.

Snowy grass: I just realised how ugly the seam was in the side texture between the snow and the dirt! Now it's much better.

Logs: I reworked my original texture (which I really like but felt quite basic) and added some more details, normal information, depth, and color accuracy on all 5 logs (except birch) and its top parts (10 textures in total)

Stems: I updated the bark on the stems with the new one and adjusted the color.  Nylium (C/W): I noticed the colors on the nylium weren't right... especially on the warped one. I reworked the colors from scratch and also lowered the AO and curvature, so it feels more natural and less saturated and 'on your face'. Also both top and side textures of both.

Moss block: Noticed that the colors were super blueish compared to the vanilla ones, and adjusted them. Also applied the same treatment as the nylium to reduce the 'noise' and get a more natural feeling.

Powder snow: I noticed the AO information on the color map was black, and I changed it to blue to ease the 'porexpan sensation'. Also reworked the shape to make it less noisy.

Stone bricks: Just adjusted the colors a bit to match the vanilla ones.

And that's it! Don't hesitate to give me all the feedback you may have on the 💬feedback  channel on the Discord server!

Love you all
