Kay Jay

Kay Jay and I spent an entire day shooting at 3 locations in Nevada, a 200 mile round trip. She and first met when she was traveling with Lillias Wright through Nevada. Kay Jay and I and Lillias shot for a few hours at Redstone before they continued on to Salt Lake City where they had another shoot booked. Some time later I got a hold of Kay Jay and asked her if she wanted to do this all day shoot. She agreed and I flew her to Las Vegas, picked her up and we spent the day together. As you can see, Kay Jay is not a stick thin model, but she poses extremely well and is a very beautiful young woman.
During the shoot we had a discussion concerning her parents. It seems like she hadn't told them she was an art model who posed nude and asked me for an opinion. I told her my niece was an art model who posed nude, and I didn't think any less of her for it. She relayed to me later that she had told her parents, and they had asked to see some of her photos. She was very relieved that they supported her and hadn't given her a lecture about it. Having talked to several of the models I shoot with about this subject (it seems like I'm a father figure to many of them), the reaction of their parents is mostly supportive. Not all though. Some models have been ostracized from their families over it.
