Kate Ri
Added 2021-04-12 17:04:27 +0000 UTCI had an opportunity to shoot with Kate Ri this past weekend remotely from my desk in Nevada to Zoi Morgan's home studio in The Netherlands. Kate is from Poland, Zoi is from Greece, by way of Scotland, and of course I'm from the good old USA, so how's that for an international cast of characters. Zoi has to remind me every once in a while that the world doesn't revolve around America, when I get to pontificating. She and I are friends, so it's mostly friendly banter, but I can get up on my soapbox. Anyway back to Kate. This was my first shoot with this lovely redhead, and I hope it won't be my last. There's a whole lot more from this shoot to come. The reason I like remote shooting is that it affords an opportunity to work with models I would otherwise not have had the opportunity to work with. Zoi asked me during the shoot would I ever see myself traveling to Europe to shoot. I answered I didn't think so. I wouldn't rule it out though. I find that European models charge a lot less for a shoot and have talked to my American model friends about that, and they concur. Enjoy this first photo of Kate and stay tuned for more.
