Anna and the Pearls
Added 2020-04-25 19:22:23 +0000 UTCThe photo that almost got me banned from Model Mayhem. Anna wanted to shoot an explicit series and post it to Model Mayhem in a Model of the Day contest. She said that she had been selected as model of the day several times and you had to be explicit or you wouldn't get selected. Brennan, a friend of mine, was a moderator on Model Mayhem and explained that this wasn't necessarily the case, but that was way after the fact. So now to set the story even further, Model Mayhem has two contests going at the same time, a fashion page and an art page. I got a little confused and submitted this image to the fashion page. They kicked it right out. I then figured out my mistake and posted it to the explicit side of Model Mayhem, and I got an immediate response there as well saying they DID NOT accept anything depicting penetration. If you look closely, you can see the strand of pearls doesn't penetrate, but I don't think that mattered especially after I had already been kicked off the fashion page. I also got a message from the Model Mayhem Mods saying three strikes and I was out, don't submit the image again. I didn't. I sent it to Anna who submitted it and was told the same thing :-) I do think it's a great photo though.
