Wednesday Bonus
Added 2020-04-08 23:44:09 +0000 UTCHere's another of Kristy, the nomad. She's technically homeless since she's traveling the country in a van with her boyfriend. They stopped on their way through Nevada, before the craziness and she and I shot for a couple of hours. We also had an interesting conversation about photographers and what they try to accomplish with their photos, especially nude photos. Kristy had some interesting observations about certain photographers just shooting body parts and calling it art while others try to focus a little on the other parts of the photos. I think I try to strike a balance. While I certainly could just focus on the naked body, I try to blend her with her surroundings. It's interesting to me that when I'm out shooting with a model, certainly a beautiful one like Kristy, I don't really have a chance to look at her. I'm too busy looking at her surroundings and how the light is hitting her and her surroundings. It isn't until post processing that I take the opportunity to look at and appreciate the beauty of the nude female form. Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-)
