Assuming you're on a PC, unzip the file by double clicking it. Open the folder it's created. Double click 'WeightingGame'. The game will run.

Hey, probably just being an idiot, but once I download the file, how do I actually go about starting the game? Thanks

Actually, I have found an anomaly: when Alice is getting worried about her size (at around 180 lb) and MC continues buying her breakfast at the cafe each day before work and invites her to his place for a meal and a movie, there comes a point when Alice says that it is not working. Not with MC but about dieting. She eats three helpings of meal (the big break meal?), needs help to get to the sofa and complains about the stairs, Well, I've been playing it as if MC is trying to help her diet. He takes her to the park for a run instead of the cafe, and invites her to his place but does NOT cook her a meal. She still eventually reaches the point where she says it's not working and has been gaining a lb or so each day. As there is no meal, she just ask for wine. Then suddenly she is stuffed, needs help to get to the sofa, complains about the stairs... As there was no meal this seems a bit odd, if you see what I mean.

I've never had a problem with Mega. I always download the game myself to test the link before posting it and it's always downloaded with no problems whatsoever. Have you tried creating a free Mega account? That may help. As for Depositfiles, I had no idea they were still going. The company I work for actually used them for a while a couple of years back and it was awful. So bad we stopped using it.

Could you possibly use something other than MEGA? It usually crashes and then tells me I've reached my allotted download bandwidth for the month. Something like https://depositfiles.com/ would be nice and the link can be password protected.

Forgot about those! I actually redid those images more or less at the last minute as the clipping on the originals was unfixable. I then forgot to tidy up the new images! They'll be fixed in the next version :)

Hey Tigger, this update was amazing and I'm having loads of fun with it! Found a graphical bug on a scene though. On the scene where you meet Hannah at the Cafe and she is wearing pink, there is a clipping issue on the clothes for the waitress and the player.

Think you may have posted this on the wrong thread :P I'm all but decided on revisiting the early stuff for the next version. The test renders for a new scene came out well, and the longer I leave it, the more there's going to be to add to the existing game.

Nope, that won't have any effect at all. It should never appear though. Guessing it was right at the start of the game?

Managed to find an extremely small bug, "This comment should never happen!" Game started fresh in 0.5final build https://we.tl/t-KdFlQyX9hb doesn't appear to have any negative consequence on the game though.

Ahhh I finally figured it out!!! That event is supposed to occur early on, and it's really really easy to trigger in new save games. I think it's basically impossible to trigger it in the 0.5 section of the plot because alice's stomach is too big to be unable to eat an entire pizza yet still want pizza! duh silly me! So the bug in 0.5 test was that it was occurring under the wrong conditions and that's probably why it wasn't working properly either. So, nevermind looking into it! It's one of those things where you just need to play a new game to see the event working properly. I was loading my save 1 day before 0.4 ended into 0.5final and the event was impossible to get, but merely because I think alice was too fat and like you said, the event was firing in 0.5test due to a bug! In a totally fresh save game the event appears easily early on. Probably as intended.

I'm working today, so won't have a chance to look into this until this evening. This particular bug never actually showed up in my playthroughs of the test version (it's caused by a typo in one of the jump routines causing it to jump to the wrong section, hence why it can't find the images). The typo is fixed in 0.5 final, but I don't remember offhand whether I saw the scene play out or not during subsequent testing.

Yep, a save after the end of 0.4 won't work. I should have worded the paragraph about savegames a bit better.
