Added 2017-07-05 17:31:04 +0000 UTCWhile we were shooting they had a time trial going on behind us for land speed records. Usually you can drive onto the salt flats, but not this day with vehicles running in excess of 250 MPH behind us. You can see them being staged in a few of the photos.

I agree with you Lin. I've shot here a few times, and while it has its own beauty, I don't think it is suited for art nude photography. I get a few good photos each time I visit, but overall you really have to fight with the setting. IMHO.

2017-07-19 19:40:31 +0000 UTCLove the poses and models but I feel the salt flats are just too open and plain and take away from the beauty of the overall image. Of course there is a beauty within the salt flats themselves, the color changes, the horizon, the sky. Hmm, maybe it is simply the vast space that I find a little overwhelming and I lose Olive in the whole thing ;))
