Added 2017-03-27 17:17:07 +0000 UTCThe parking lot at this particular location is behind Inna, but we really didn't have to contend with a lot of tourists during the shoot. Too cold to go out into the desert I guess. Again most of this series is done in black and white. Tell me what you think.

2017-03-30 01:08:46 +0000 UTCSeeing the curves in the rocks and matching it with the pose is one of the most difficult things to do outside. Inna can't see the rocks behind her so it's up to the photog to let her know when her pose flows with the rock. As the photog, you can't get stuck in one place. You have to keep walking around the model and watching for the blending of her pose, the curvature of the rock, and the light. That's what I find so satisfying about shooting outdoors. When the photo works, it's an engineering feat. :-) Of course that's an engineer talking.

2017-03-28 22:01:44 +0000 UTCWonderful shot, love how you and the models are able to see the curves in the rocks and how they attempt to match those curves with their poses. ;)) The B/W lends a certain starkness to this desert even though we all know the beauty of the desert ;))
